A. I did a search in Google Scholar and came up with some articles to start with. I posted the URL of the search results below, hopefully that will work, otherwise, go to and search using "environment of the Cretaceous Wealden sedementation. If you have access to a nearby library they may have the publications that contain the articles, or, you could ask them about there interlibrary loan department. I suggest starting with these articles and looking at the article references to find some relevant books and/or more articles. Good Luck!

Are florecent lights actually good for the environment?
Q. i'm pretty much the biggest tree hugger ever and i forced my family to switch all the light bulbs in our house to those eco-friendly florecent bulbs. but my mom just found out that they are SOOO toxic when they break! she said its so much worse for the environment if they break than if you use traditional bulbs. and you also have to go through this whole big clean up thing. is it really beneficial to use these?
Asked by Little Miss Sunshine - Fri May 30 22:01:10 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. ALL fluorescent bulbs have mercury in them. HOWEVER, the amount of mercury in the compact fluorescent bulbs is miniscule. The problem comes from the bulbs being thrown into the trash instead of being recycled. One bulb is not a problem, but when you get a million bulbs in the landfill, the mercury level becomes a real issue. There are more places that are taking the CFL's for recycling. The hardware store in my town takes them. As long as they don't get landfilled, the environmental impact will be nullified. We MUST learn that nothing that we throw away disappears. It has to go somewhere. Until we become diligent stewards of our planet, our pollution problems will not go away.

Environmentalism is a concern for the preservation, restoration, or improvement of the natural environment, such as the conservation of natural resources, prevention of pollution, and certain land use actions.

  • I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you humans are not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area, and you multiply and multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.
